Walk-Ins

We are usually fully booked so we advise scheduling an appointment in advance. We do however take last minute appointments so check out our online booking or give us a call first and we would love to schedule you in.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS

We strive to provide you and other clients with excellent customer service and access to appointments during our peak times. In order to do to, we have a firm 24-hour cancellation policy. Please note that by booking an appointment you are accepting the conditions of our cancellation policy and any credit card that you have on file will be automatically charged, according to the policy below:

*Cancellations and Reschedules within 24 hours* will be charged $15 per service at the time of cancellation.

*No Show* appointments or those without at least 1 hour minimum notice will be charged 50% of the total appointment cost plus 18% gratuity for the esthetician that you were scheduled with.

We regret that we cannot make exceptions to our 24-hour cancellation policy. We are an appointment-based business and we schedule especially for you. Thank you for your understanding.

Late Arrivals

Late Arrivals

Please allow yourself enough time to locate us and have a couple minutes to sit and relax in the waiting area. If you arrive more than 5 minutes past your appointment start time, we may not have enough time to complete your service. If you are too late to make your appointment, you WILL be considered a “last-minute cancel” and will be charged accordingly.

Bringing a Friend?

Bringing A Friend?

You may bring a friend but only clients receiving services are allowed in the private wax or facial rooms.

Bringing Children?

Bringing A Child?

We know it’s not always possible to leave your little ones with a sitter. If your children are well behaved and can occupy themselves, feel free to bring them along. We kindly ask that babies and screaming little ones stay with a sitter. Although it doesn’t bother us, it may bother our other clients that are using this time to escape their own screaming little ones at home.

Payment Options

Payment Options

We accept Visa, MC, and Discover. Gratuties in any form are always appreciated, but cash is preferred. If you are happy with your service, a tip of 15%-20% of the regular service price is typical. (of course the actual amount is up to your discretion!)

Frequently Asked Questions

Hair Length

How Long Should I Keep My Hair?

Recommended length is about a quarter inch, which is around 2-4 weeks after shaving.

Pre-Waxing Regiment

What should I do before getting waxed?

Try to avoid tanning about 24 hours before your appointment. Wear comfortable clothes if it’s your first time, this helps with irritation to the recently waxed area. Some guests like to have an aspirin a half hour before their waxing appointment.

Recently Shaved?

I Just Shaved. Is that OK?

No it’s not OK. Sadly, you can’t be waxed at this very moment. Depending on how fast your hair grows, you should be ready to get waxed in around 2-4 weeks. A quarter inch is a good length for us to try again.

Post-Wax Regiment

I Have Been Gently Waxed. Now what?

Avoid exercise, tanning and lotions with scent for around 12 hours or so.

Exfoliate with a Natural Scrub and Soap. Exfoliation removes the outer layer of skin to show the newer skin beneath. This removal of the outer layer unclogs pores, keeps skin clean, and allows your hair to grow without restriction. Wait around 24 hours after your waxing appointment  to exfoliate.

We carry all natural scrubs and soaps that you can choose from at Pristine Body Studio.

Ingrown Hairs

I get ingrown hairs. What can I do?

Exfoliating the area daily is key in order to remove the top layer of skin and unclog the pores so that the hair can grow freely.

Skin Sensitivity and Other Personal Issues

I have a Mole, Sensitive Skin, a Cold Sore and I am on my Period. Can I get Waxed?

Yes You Can! Just let us know before hand so that we may accommodate you. We also have numbing cream that can be applied 30 minutes before your appointment for those with skin sensitivity.

If it is your time of the month wearing a tampon is perfectly fine. Tucking or cutting the string will allow us to wax your properly.
